F, D AND C FOOD GRADE DYE

Below you will find FOOD GRADE dye. These can also be used in cosmetics or anywhere a powdered coloring agent needs to be used. You can start with anywhere from 2 - 3 percent of the total volume and work upwards; however, start with a small amount as these are very potent and not much will be needed, depending on the color desired. Colors can be mixed for limitless possibilities!

D AND C MICAS

All of our micas are cosmetic grade and FDA approved. They may be used to add color and glimmer in Melt and Pour Soap, Cold Process Soap, Hot Process Soap, lip products, bath and body products, and cosmetic! Our micas are stable in soap....they will not fade overall, and they do NOT contain carmine or iron blue. Mica appears to be grey in color until it is blended with soaps, lotions etc. At that time, mica generates a shimmer or sheen when reflected with light. Mica does not derive a definitive color such as in Natural and Un-Natural colors, but rather they offer a shimmer or refractive color. Mica does not need to be turned into a liquid pigment first before blending with soaps or toiletries. Simply blend the powder itself in to the product that you wish to color.
